AGC AND IIUM EMPOWER FUTURE LEGAL TALENTS THROUGH GREEN HARVEST@AGC 2025 PROGRAMME

Gombak, 15 October 2025 – The Attorney General’s Chambers of Malaysia (AGC) in collaboration with the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), successfully held the Green Harvest @AGC 2025 Programme at IIUM, drawing strong participation from law students eager to explore legal career pathways and public service opportunities.

The programme commenced with interactive session titled “Peranan dan Fungsi AGC (Laluan Kerjaya)” was delivered by YBrs. Tuan Muhammad Firdaus Zariza bin Abd Aziz, Senior Federal Counsel, who highlighted the structure, responsibilities, and meaningful career prospects available within AGC for aspiring legal professionals.

The programme resumed with the second interactive session featuring YBhg. Datuk Kamal Baharin bin Omar, Deputy Head of the Prosecution Division III, who shared his vast experiences navigating the legal profession as a government lawyer. His session inspired many students to consider the essential role of public prosecutors in upholding justice and safeguarding public interest.

Participants later took part in a short and lively quiz segment, followed by a special address by the Attorney General himself, YBhg. Tan Sri Peguam Negara, marking a notable highlight of the event.

The closing ceremony with remarks by Prof. Dr. Ida Madieha binti Abdul Ghani Azmi, Dean of AIKOL, officiated the ceremony with an inspiring speech praising the collaboration between AGC and IIUM in nurturing future-ready legal minds rooted in integrity and professionalism.

The occasion concluded a meaningful networking platform for both AGC representatives and IIUM students. The Green Harvest @AGC 2025 Programme successfully strengthened students’ understanding of Malaysia’s legal institutions while motivating them to serve the nation with dedication and excellence in the future.
