Gombak, 2 September 2025 – The Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), welcomed delegates from the University of Darussalam (UNIDA), Gontor, for an International Academic Study Tour aimed at strengthening academic linkages and fostering cross-border collaboration in legal education.
The event, held at the Al-Nawawi Conference Room, Level 4 of the AIKOL Building, took place from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. It served as a platform for sharing knowledge, exchanging ideas, and exploring future academic cooperation between the two institutions.
The programme featured discussions on the academic landscape at AIKOL, collaborative opportunities in legal studies, and potential student and staff exchange initiatives. The visit also highlighted AIKOL’s ongoing commitment to nurturing ethical and holistic legal professionals, in line with IIUM’s mission of harmonising Shariah and civil legal systems.
This study tour forms part of AIKOL’s broader internationalisation strategy, creating avenues for global partnerships and promoting legal education that transcends geographical boundaries.
