Gombak, 4 September 2025 — The Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), hosted a MYRA Tour session focusing on Section B4, G3, and G5: Awards, Recognitions, and Memberships.
The MYRA Tour is a joint initiative by the Research Excellence Unit (REU) under the Office of the Deputy Rector (Research, Innovation & Development). It is designed to assist kulliyyahs and centres in providing accurate data collection for Malaysia Research Assessment (MyRA), which plays a vital role in strengthening the university’s research profile.

The session was led by Dr. Badrul Shibghatullah, Acting Deputy Director at the Office of the Deputy Rector (Research, Innovation & Development), who serves as the MYRA Section Leader for B4, G3, and G5. He was supported by Rafidah Md, Acting Deputy Director of the Research Excellence Unit, Research Management Centre, in her role as the MYRA Secretariat.
During the programme, participants were guided on how to systematically record and highlight achievements such as awards, professional recognitions, and memberships in scholarly and professional bodies. These elements are essential in demonstrating the university’s standing and competitiveness in research and academic excellence.

The initiative reflects IIUM’s ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of research quality, innovation, and global recognition.
