AIKOL WELCOMES COURTESY VISIT FROM INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC COLLEGE

Gombak, 29 September 2025 – The Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), received a courtesy visit from the International Islamic College (IIC) today. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Professor Dr Ida Madieha Abdul Ghani Azmi, Dean of AIKOL, together with academic and administrative staff of the Kulliyyah.

The IIC delegation was led by Mr Shaik Faridhudheen Anverdeen, Chief Executive Officer of IIC, accompanied by Puan Wan Nabilah Wan Deraman, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Enforcement.

The visit provided a platform to strengthen institutional ties between AIKOL and IIC and to explore possible avenues of collaboration in academic development, student engagement, and professional training. Discussions revolved around enhancing curriculum design, creating opportunities for joint programmes, and developing initiatives that would benefit both AIKOL and IIC students.

In her welcoming remarks, Professor Dr Ida Madieha emphasised AIKOL’s readiness to support efforts that enhance academic excellence and professional preparedness among students. She highlighted the importance of collaboration within the IIUM network of institutions to cultivate shared values and contribute to the holistic development of future professionals.

Mr Shaik Faridhudheen expressed appreciation for the warm reception and reaffirmed IIC’s commitment to building strong academic partnerships. He noted that closer engagement with AIKOL would open new pathways for student exposure, faculty cooperation, and shared expertise.

The courtesy visit concluded with a constructive exchange of ideas and a mutual commitment to deepen collaboration, reflecting the shared vision of both AIKOL and IIC in advancing quality education and human capital development.
