MEMBERS OF THE CLIMATE CHANGE POLICY AND LAW CENTRE UNDER AN EU FUNDING EXCHANGES VIEWS AT UNIVERSITY OF GIRONA ON ENSURING QUALITY OF ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES FOR CLIMATE CHANGE

Girona, Spain, 30 May 2022. Assoc Prof Dr Maizatun Mustafa leads as the Coordinator, the team under the Climate Change Policy and Law Centre (CCPLC) under the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws to capacity building series at the University of Girona, Spain. The study visit is funded under the Erasmus+ towards the development of the postgraduate curriculum on the climate change.

In the first session, Prof Dr Pepus Daunis i Estadella, the Vice-Rector (Quality and Transparency) of the University of Girona shares the importance of the institutional quality culture. During the discussion, the participants agree that it is important to ensure that views of all stakeholders are taken into account in establishing and maintaining quality. This will involve the views of the students, the industry and the academic.

Dr Alberto Ruda, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Girona, in moderating the discussion explains the quality framework at the regional (Catalan region) and national levels.
