Gombak, 3 September 2022. The LLB(Honours) Class of ’90 celebrates their 32nd anniversary with a gathering at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). The camaraderie is fresh in the air.
Bro Hazman Ahmad commences the gathering by thanking everyone in making the time to gather in the Gombak Campus although their period of undergraduate study was spent in the former Petaling Jaya Campus. Although their professional positions and stations in the society may differ, today all of them come as proud alumni of Kulliyyah of Laws.
The IIUM Alumni Relations Division, represented in the meeting by Dr Ahmad El-Muhammady, provides logistical support for the gathering.
Bro Farid Sufian Shuaib, the Dean of Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws, as a junior to the Class of ’90, welcomes the opportunity to engage with the alumni. He thanks the seniors in paving the way to make their marks in the legal world and society. He commends the step taken by the alumni in supporting the “Give to AIKOL” campaign to ensure the continuity and sustainability of the mission of the Kulliyyah in working towards just laws and just legal systems through harmonisation of Shariah and law and champion by balanced graduates.
