Bangi, 6 April 2022. The Climate Change Policy and Law Centre under Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (CCPLC) visited the Institute of Climate Change (IPI) under the National University of Malaysia at Bangi. Both entities agree to collaborate towards working to adapt and to mitigate the impact of climate change.
Associate Professor Dr Zaini Sakawi, the Director of the Institute welcomes the delegation from the CCPLC and shares the Institute on-going works with the ministries and other partners. The Head of Earth Observation Centre, Assoc Prof Sr Dr Khairul Nizam Abdul Maulud shares his experiences in conducting research and the opportunities of collaboration on related legal issues with CCPLC
Prof Farid Sufian Shuaib, the Dean of Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL) appreciates the readiness of IPI to walk together with a start-up such as CCPLC and embraces the spirit of cooperation extols by IPI.
Assoc Prof Dr Maizatun Mustafa, the Coordinator for CCPLC explains the mission of CCPLC and thankful to the detailed description of the work of IPI by its members.
Assoc Prof Dr Zuraidah Haji Ali, the Director of the Harun M Hashim Law Centre which co-hosting CCPLC conveys her admiration of the good works done by IPI and wishes to ensure the LLM programme develops together with CCPLC could benefit from the experience of IPI in conducting their research and academic programmes.
