In a concerted effort to bolster community-based first aid initiatives, the Flagship 3.0 CBFA team from Kulliyyah of Science orchestrated a comprehensive “Psychological First Aid: train the Trainer” course. With a diverse turnout of 20 participants, comprising lecturers and staff from both the Kulliyyah of Science and the Kulliyyah of Nursing, the session aimed to fortify the capabilities of CBFA members in delivering effective training on psychological first aid. Facilitated by esteemed speakers Prof. Dr. Salizar Mohamed Ludin and Dr. Nurasikin Mohamad Shariff, the event unfolded as an engaging exploration into the intricate dynamics of psychological first aid within emergency contexts.

Throughout the session, participants were immersed in a multifaceted learning experience, blending theoretical frameworks with practical exercises and real-life case studies. Prof. Dr. Salizar Mohamed Ludin and Dr. Nurasikin Mohamad Shariff, drawing from their wealth of expertise, navigated attendees through the core principles of psychological first aid, stressing the paramount importance of nurturing emotional well-being alongside physical health in crisis situations.
