This is the 1+3 programme that begin with either Master of Science in Dentistry (MScD) (UiTM) or  Master of Oral Science Prosthodontic (MOSc Pros) (UM) followed by Doctor in Prosthodontics (IIUM)

1. Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent qualification.
2. A minimum of 2 years clinical practice after graduation from dental schoolexcluding the master’s training.
3. 3 options for language requirements:
   1. IELTS overall band of at least 6.0
   2. Minimum score (TOEFL): Paper-based:550;Computer-based:213;Internet- based: 79.
   3. Minimum Score (EPT-IIUM administered English Placement) overall band of 6.0
4. Registered with MDC and holds current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) orregistered with the dental regulatory body in another country and eligible to begranted a Temporary Practising Certificate (TPC) by MDC.
5. Applicants need to provide evidence to the university that they are free from Hep B,Hep C, HIV and other infectious diseases upon acceptance into the programme.
6. Two (2) referee reports.
7. Passed entrance interview and/or prescribed test.

OTHER VALUEABLE ASPECTS FOR CONSIDERATION 

1. Successful completion of the primary examination of the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeon (RACDS), Membership of The Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) orequivalent.  
2. Post graduate degree involving clinical training.
