Duration: 

Minimum 3 years (6 semesters),  maximum 4 years (8 semesters) – Full time only.

Course Details: 

This course is designed to provide clinical and academic training for future specialists in clinical orthodontics in a highly professional and fulfilling environment. This three-year full-time course aims to equip a Resident with the skills needed to perform as a competent Specialist in Orthodontics, with focus on the clinical, theoretical and research areas required for provision of adequate patient care. Upon successful completion of the course, the Resident will be awarded with the qualification of Doctor in Orthodontics IIUM.

Duration: 

Minimum 3 years (6 semesters),  maximum 4 years (8 semesters).

Course Details: 

  • This course is designed to provide clinical and academic training for future specialists in clinical Prosthodontics in a highly professional and fulfilling environment.
  • This three-year full time course aims to equip the resident with the skills needed to performas a competent Specialist Prosthodontist, focusing on the clinical, theoretical and researchareas required for provision of adequate patient care.
  • Upon successful completion of the course, the resident will be awarded with the qualification of Doctor in Prosthodontics IIUM.

Course Details: 

This is a research-based programme, consisting of full research (100%) work leading to thesis submission. Students are required to present and defend the research proposal in Semester 1. Assessment will be based on the submitted thesis and viva-voce. All details regarding the research proposal and thesis submission are according to IIUM Postgraduate Regulations (Revised 2020) handbook. Students also need to fulfil the minimum publication requirement as stipulated by the university a graduation requirement.

Duration: 

Full time – Minimum 2 years/Maximum 3 years
Part time – Minimum 3 years/Maximum 5 years
