CoExCyS Industry collaboration effort with Permodalan Kelantan Berhad (PKB). The meeting was led by Dr. Hafizah, presenting the details of our first consulting project for PKB for cybersecurity audit, assessment, and PenTest of PKB web and mobile applications and infrastructure. Moderated by our Dean, Dr. Murni, and Head of Research, Dr. Azura. The project is expected to commence this mid-November. PKB Group CEO, Dato’ Zamri Ismail also shared some potential future collaborations that can be done further with KICT.

Alhamdulillah, the IIUM team secured 10th place out of 80 teams, competing in the Malaysia Data Innovation Talent x DOSM 2024. This is to share with Kuliyyah members the picture of our young talents. November 11, 2024, our students participated in PwC’s “Hack a Day 2024: Capture the Flag” competition. Alhamdulillah, KICT team achieved 4th place in Malaysia and 27th in ASEAN, competing against over 70 teams from Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand.
