Over two days, more than 650 visitorsâfrom preschool children and school students to university learners and members of the publicâexperienced the knowledge, skills and dedication involved in professional nursing practice.
Participating Schools
Over the course of two days, the event attracted more than 650 visitors , including preschoolers, primary and secondary school students, university undergraduates, postgraduates and members of the public. The six participating local schools, together with their accompanying teachers, engaged enthusiastically with the programme, creating a lively atmosphere of learning and discovery.
Nursing Students as Facilitators
Our nursing students played an instrumental role as facilitators, guiding visitors through each procedure and fostering meaningful interactions. Their involvement not only enhanced the visitorsâ experience but also provided valuable communication and teaching opportunities for the nursing students, bridging the gap between academic learning and community service.
