The laboratory is managed under the supervision of the Department of Basic Medical Sciences for Nursing and is equipped to facilitate a range of practical, scientific and academic learning activities for nursing students.
Laboratory Services & Learning Activities
Facilitate practical learning sessions in pathology and microbiology, helping students understand disease processes, microorganisms and their relevance to nursing practice.
Support structured practical sessions in biochemistry, enabling students to relate biochemical processes and laboratory concepts to human health, disease and clinical nursing care.
Provide access to laboratory microscopes for hands-on learning, specimen observation and analysis, strengthening students' scientific observation and laboratory skills.
Support the visualisation and understanding of human anatomy and physiology through structured learning modules and practical teaching activities.
