The Department of Medical Surgical Nursing at the Kulliyyah of Nursing, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) is the core department responsible for teaching and supervising adult nursing courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The Department is committed to excellence in nursing education, clinical training and research, while upholding high standards of professional practice and ethics.

Since its establishment in 2013, the Department has brought together experts from diverse nursing disciplines to strengthen academic learning, clinical expertise and professional development.

🎓 Postgraduate Programme
At postgraduate level, the Department offers the Master of Advanced Nursing Practice (MAP) in Renal Care, providing advanced education and clinical preparation in specialised renal nursing practice.

The Department continues to explore opportunities for further postgraduate programme expansion in response to evolving healthcare and professional nursing needs.
