The Department of Professional Nursing Studies (PNS) is a foundational academic department within the Kulliyyah of Nursing, IIUM, dedicated to cultivating ethical, knowledgeable, and holistic nursing professionals. Anchored in IIUM’s Tawhidic epistemology, the department integrates spiritual values with academic and professional excellence. The department specialises in key subject areas such as Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical Sociology, Ethics, and Professionalism, which form the backbone of both undergraduate and postgraduate nursing education.
