Organised jointly by Yayasan Pahang and BEYOND4, the PISA Demo Day serves as a premier platform for emerging startups to showcase transformative ideas. Dr. Ayuni’s project, NurseLink.MY, is a mobile home nursing platform purposefully designed to bridge the gap between post-discharge or chronic-care patients and verified, credentialled nurses. By leveraging digital technology, the application aims to provide safe, accessible, and high-quality professional nursing care directly to patients' homes.
The platform's immense potential was formally acknowledged during the event's keynote address delivered by Dato' Mohamad Nizar bin Dato' Sri Mohamad Najib. He provided a special mention of NurseLink.MY, highlighting its capacity to fundamentally transform the landscape of home-based nursing care across Malaysia. This recognition underscores a growing national recognition of the need for reliable, decentralised healthcare services in a post-hospitalisation setting.
The transition of NurseLink.MY from a conceptual framework to a promising healthcare startup is the result of rigorous research, development, and collaborative innovation. Dr. Ayuni was supported by a dedicated project team comprising Nik Surianie Nik Harun, Muhammad Aqil Nordin, Nabil, and Madam Nurzulali Mohd Tahet. Their combined expertise has been instrumental in refining the platform to meet the strict standards required for clinical and operational deployment.
Demonstrating the strong backing of the professional community, the event was also graced by Mr. Zamri Shahri from the Islamic Nurses Association Malaysia (INAM). His presence signified robust collaborative support and endorsement from the broader nursing profession, which will be a critical factor in the platform's future integration into the national healthcare ecosystem.
The Kulliyyah of Nursing extends its heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Ayuni and her team for this outstanding entrepreneurial feat. The institution also expresses its deep appreciation to PISA, Yayasan Pahang, and BEYOND4 for their continuous support in fostering innovation among IIUM academics. This milestone stands as a powerful testament to the Kulliyyah’s enduring commitment to translating academic research and nursing expertise into tangible, real-world impacts that elevate patient care.
