Educational & Academic Synergy
Throughout the programme, our delegates actively participated in institutional engagements and faculty research sharing. A major highlight was the delivery of specialised guest lectures spanning diverse fields including Maternal-Newborn Nursing, Operation Theatre Nursing, Spiritual Care, Neuroscience, and Critical Care Nursing.
Beyond the classroom walls, the programme placed a strong emphasis on clinical and community exposure. The delegation engaged in immersive professional exchanges at the Universitas Airlangga Hospital and visited a local Puskesmas (Community Health Centre). These visits facilitated profound discussions, comparing perspectives on nursing practices and grassroots healthcare delivery models between Indonesia and Malaysia.
Research collaboration formed another critical pillar of the visit. Dedicated sessions were held to identify joint research themes, plan future publications, and explore complementary medicine—specifically, the integration of traditional therapies with modern healthcare approaches.
The cultural and professional exchange was equally enriching. The warm hospitality extended by the faculty members, healthcare professionals, and students of Universitas Airlangga strengthened the deep-rooted relationships between our institutions. This programme was significantly more than a standard academic visit; it effectively broadened our collective understanding of nursing education and opened exciting new avenues for mobility initiatives.
Our sincere appreciation goes to the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Airlangga, for their excellent coordination. Together, we look forward to continuously advancing global nursing standards through steadfast international partnerships.
