SYNOPSIS:

This video presents the final outcomes of two major projects completed by eight student groups as part of the BAQS 2300 Integrated Multi-Disciplinary Session 2023/2024. With the guidance of 11 teaching lecturers and support from technician staff, the students produced innovative design posters, models, technical reports, videos, and pitching presentations for their Final Assessment and Exhibition on 5th and 9th September 2024. The projects were complemented by hands-on activities conducted in the Timber Lab and Malay Heritage Living Lab, as well as cleaning efforts at the KAED Resource Centre and QS Lab, carried out between 10th and 12th September 2024.

The featured projects are:

  1. Exterior and Interior Space Enhancement of KAED’s Resource Centre (RC) – This project focused on revitalizing both the external and internal spaces of the Resource Centre, with the aim of improving functionality, aesthetic appeal, and user experience.
  2. Design and Selection of Components for the Construction of Male and Female Restrooms – Conducted at the Malay Heritage Living Lab, this project involved designing and selecting components for the restrooms, including work on the partial substructure, ground elements, and landscape to align with the lab’s heritage-focused environment.

This video showcases the students’ creative solutions, technical expertise, and collaborative efforts, culminating in a comprehensive exhibition of their multidisciplinary skills.
